To whom?
We pay the allowance of a person of working age with a disability to a person of working age (16 years old until old-age pension) regarding whom the degree of severity of a disability has been determined.
The rates of the allowance are 29–100 euros per month, depending on the severity of the disability and deviation of function.
How to receive?
To get the allowance, submit an application to the Social Insurance Board.
There are several ways to apply:
- submit a request in self-service through communication and notification
- send the completed and digitally signed application to the Social Insurance Board's e-mail address [email protected]
- send the application by mail to the address Paldiski mnt 80, 15092 Tallinn
- take the application to the customer service of the Social Insurance Board (customer service contact details)
Additional leave days
If the Unemployment Insurance Fund has determined that you have partial or no work ability or you are a pensioner with inability for work (40-100% loss of work ability) and you work on the basis of an employment contract, you have the right to receive up to 7 calendar days in addition to the usual 28 leave days per year, i.e. a total of 35 days of annual leave. If you would like additional days off, please contact your employer.
