Becoming a foster family

Foster family raises a child born to other parents in their own home and takes care of the child either long-term, until the child reaches adulthood, or temporarily until the child's birth family can take care of the child again.

A family that has the strength and is willing to provide care, support and love to a child born in another family can become a foster family for that child.
