Victim support helpline 116 006

  • Victim support helpline 116 006 of the Social Insurance Board

    provides prompt assistance to people who have fallen victim to an offence, negligence, or mistreatment or experienced physical, psychological, economic, or sexual violence. The service is free of charge to callers and available 24 hours a day. Helpline callers have the option to remain anonymous. Assistance is provided in Estonian, Russian, and English.

  • If calling is not possible

    or if one does not want to discuss their problems by phone, we urge to visit, where victims can request counsel and assistance via online chat. The online counselling service is also available 24 hours a day an in three languages.


  • 24-hour helpline and online counselling

    will certainly help more victims access the help they need. For example, victims can contact the helpline in the presence of a police officers or after they have left to seek primary counselling and agree on a meeting with a victim support worker.

  • Every day from 16 to 20 victims can contact the crisis helpline 116 006 in Ukrainian Language. The call is received by Ukrainian-speaking psychologists. At other times, by calling the same number, it is possible to agree on a Ukrainian-language consultation at a time that is suitable for you. Counselling is provided by telephone or video-call.
